I would like to know what doctors in India use as medicine and to promote health. Does it work? Is it better than Western medicine?

I know there are a lot of people using homeopathic remedies, they’re inexpensive, and tend to work very well with no side effects.

And if so, should I drink real coffee or decafeinated? Does decafeinated mean the the cafeine is diluted?

I’m used to plain old herbal remedies and teas, but they’re not working for me. I’ve tried looking into homeopathy but am so overwhelmed with latin names and chemical jargon that tell me about certain treatments, but not about the whole picture. What exactly IS homeopathy? Is it just precise herbal and mineral treatments? I cannot afford to see a specialist in this field just now, so am left to my own research.

I am in a great deal of pain right now. I have had this skin problem on my right index finger that I suspect is a Candida problem and am treating myself with a yeast cleanse system. It is worse when my hands get hot and/or wet from the dishwater, so I use gloves but the heat still penetrates. My joints in that hand are really hurting as well. It comes and goes in severity and occasionally I have a sharp stinging pain.Grapefruit seed extract seems to help the rash,but I have to use it straight and undiluted (or else it doesn’t work),which burns the skin around it a little,but then it comes back.

I cannot get in to see a doctor till Monday, so I wondered if anyone has treated symptoms like these with Skin Irritation #94 or Cantharsis (Spanish Fly), and if you think Arnica will help dull the pain.
